Printing your images is just as much fun as taking them. Think of everything that goes into taking that perfect picture. You research the location. You know what time of day to capture the image. Tide times and heights. Then set up your composition, choosing what filter or filters work best and then eventually clicking that shutter button. All this adds up to the excitement of photography. Well, printing at home is just as exciting!

How big, what paper, frame or no frame, border or no border? Where will I hang it? They're all exciting elements of photography we're probably not even experiencing!
Then eventually printing the image and watching all your hard work materialise into an object of desire, right in front of your eyes. Something we can touch, we can hang, we can sign, we can sell. It's no longer just 1's & zeros in the digital world, it's a physical thing!
I take thousands of images each year. They've gone through their digital journey. They've been uploaded to social media. They've had their likes, their comments but now they're old news.
Where are my images today? Who is even looking at them, I bet you're not!
The sad thing is, each chapter is about yesterday and nothing is about tomorrow!
If you just take pictures you're missing out on a whole world of fun!
I have a studio full of prints. Images that used to hang on the walls, Images I've used for competition or qualifications in the past. Portraits, Wedding images and countless landscape images too. The thing is since I started my YouTube channel I have always used the excuse that I'm too busy. I prefer taking to printing! In a nutshell, total twaddle!
I don't print enough... But that's all about to change!...
