One day I got a VG & CE magazine and saw the craziest review for a NES game. I showed it to my dad, who read it out loud to the whole family. We laughed loud at the silly premise for the game.
Years later we saw the game for 8 bucks at a Blockbusters and bought it. And that's the story behind my playthrough from years ago. I included a picture of the actual review and the cover for the magazine at the end.
You'll note that the reviewer gets the finger battles slightly wrong. I ruined an earlier reading by saying "Wrong!"
