Recorded July 19, 2000. The video begins as we sail out of Valdez, Alaska and see some sea otters at play. We sail down the Valdez Arm passing beautiful Anderson with a bald eagle perched below the long cascade of water. Next we pass a rocky point with hundreds of steller sea lions splashing in the water while puffins are perched in the rocks above. We then reach the spectacular Columbia Glacier. We sail through the crackling ice taking in the majestic beauty of this special place. The video concludes as we sail back to Valdez and see a fishing boat reel in a large catch of fish.
