High profile celebrities including Hugh Grant, Charlotte Church and Prince Harry have opened up to ITV News about their experiences with the tabloid press.
In a new ITV documentary, Tabloids on Trial, Prince Harry described the impact stories printed in the media had on his and his late mother Princess Diana’s life.
When asked if phone-hacking resulted in paranoia, he said: “It could be paranoia but then when you're vindicated it proves that you’re not being paranoid."
While it hasn't been proven in court that Diana was also a victim of hacking, the Duke related his experiences to his late mother's and said "she wasn't paranoid".
The documentary will be broadcast on July 25th at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
