"PWO Wrestlelution 4: Overdrive" is the biggest event in the history of PWO Wrestling! The event takes place live at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at the Jacobs Pavilion in downtown Cleveland, Ohio and will be available worldwide on iPPV at gfl.tv/Events/Fight/Wrestling/PWO_Wrestlelution_4_Overdrive/1055
Johnny Gargano was expecting to call out the unknown masked man who attacked him four months ago, effectively knocking Gargano out of the PWO Title picture for the foreseeable future, and out of PWO altogether for 11 weeks. However, when it was time for the masked man to appear we saw... M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross???
Matt Cross and Johnny Gargano have been at odds since day one in PWO, however Matt was quick to point out it was NOT him who attacked Gargano - Matt was in California filming "WWE Tough Enough" at the time of the attack. Instead, Matt had his own agenda - the goal of proving what many fans already feel - that Matt was treated unfairly on the reality series and that the trainers were dead wrong when they claimed Matt just didn't have what it takes to be a major superstar. Matt stood confident in a PWO ring, knowing what he has accomplished not just here but around the world, but knew he had unfinished business. To prove he has what it takes, in Matt's mind, he has to finish what he started... and finally end the PWO career of Johnny Gargano. But just as the two were about to come to blows, both men's pasts caught up with them!
Josh Prohibition, not seen in PWO in two years, made a shocking return of his own, with words for both men. Josh claimed he made both Matt AND Johnny what they are today, and each of their successes on global television and trips to wrestle in nearly every country known to man would NOT be possible for either without Josh's guidance. Josh also stated he is sick of hearing people ask "Didn't you USED to be Josh Prohibition?" "Didn't you USED to be a pro wrestler?" Josh stated he still IS the same Josh Prohibition he always was, and could still beat either Matt or Johnny at any time.
With this, Gargano had an idea. Standing in the ring were three men who's PWO careers were, in many ways, synonymous with one another. They were also the first 3 ever PWO Champions and also comprised the first 3 PWO Wrestlelution main events between them. With that, the challenge was made for these three men to go "Full Circle" and battle in a Three-Way Dance at PWO Wrestlelution 4. Josh left promising neither man would make it to August 7 in tact, showing Josh is back to playing the same mind games and psychological tactics that made him famous and infamous in PWO's infancy.
