Born with cerebral palsy and literally almost killed inside a wrestling ring during his rookie year, PWO Wrestling's "Handicapped Hero" and "Crippled Crusader" has overcome years worth of adversity just for the privilege of being called a professional wrestler.
Perhaps one of Greg's most shining moments came on July 23, 2011 when CM Punk, the most talked about name in the entire wrestling industry, made a surprise appearance at a wrestling event in Chicago, telling Gregory Iron to his face what an inspiration he was and that Punk thought Greg was "f***ing awesome".
But what has made Greg so awesome, so strong, so inspirational? In early 2011, PWO TV's Joe Dombrowski hosted a profile of the career of Greg and tag partner Hobo Joe. There we heard the emotional details of Greg's upbringing and the day he almost lost his life.
