At a university in Miami, a secret and highly dangerous experiment is underway. Scientists have created a powerful rabies-like virus, code-named "Rage," designed to create super-aggressive soldiers. When an infected baboon escapes the research lab, the contagion begins to spread.
Frank Duffy, a cynical reporter, and Sam, a smart college student, stumble upon the terrifying truth. The virus is turning its victims into violent, bloodthirsty killers with no sense of reason. As the infection spreads like wildfire across campus, the military quarantines the area, trapping the healthy and the infected together. Frank and Sam must fight for their lives and find a way to expose the conspiracy before the entire city is consumed by primal rage.
