At the start of the new Ranked Battles season in Pokémon Legends ZA, I genuinely believed Groudon would be the weakest option compared to Rayquaza and Kyogre. Also, with the introduction of powerful new Mega Pokémon like Mega Swampert. I assumed Groudon would struggle to find any real relevance in the meta.

I couldn’t have been more wrong!!

In almost every single match I participated in Primal Groudon stood his ground and dominated the field when there were no direct counters on the field. I still believe Mega Rayquaza and Prima Kyogre are superior but Primal Groudon is right there with them in terms of overwhelming presence and strength.
