The effect of pre-wetting with ethanol-water mixture on the rate of water penetration into rosin-sized wood pulp paper has been studied by a number of researchers. The results of these studies have shown that pre-wetting with ethanol-water mixture can significantly increase the rate of water penetration into rosin-sized wood pulp paper.
The results of these studies suggest that pre-wetting with ethanol-water mixture can be an effective way to increase the rate of water penetration into rosin-sized wood pulp paper. This could be useful for applications where it is important to be able to quickly and easily wet the paper, such as in the printing and coating industries.
