DaMoomin | Pretty Little Psycho Thumbnail Contest Entry REDRAW//Speedpaint @DaMoomin | Uploaded 1 year ago | Updated 4 hours ago
Well well well, nobody sure expected one more Mooming video huh?
Shame it isn't actually new content (technically)
This speedpaint was a long time coming one. For months, I've been trying to find the time and energy to finally redraw this bad boy and uh... here we are?
I'm a bit rusty when it comes to drawing cats, this piece is glaringly different from the old one (Which was made 2,5 years ago!!) both in general art style, but also shading and backgrounds and ahhhh
I honestly won't be surprised if you do prefer the old entry, it has its charm and as I said, was drawn in a completely different style.
In my eyes, however, it was very much outdated, my most glaring issues as an artist were shining through especially bright in the old entry, be it the "zoomed in" composition or just lack of dynamism and flatness. I tried my best to tackle these issues here and, well, I hope I succeeded and the small growth I've made as an artist is somewhat visible.
For now, that will be all from me, I wish you all a happy new Year and I will probably see you again in 2023!
Enjoy :'D
