Story: Jim Hawkins is the lead singer in a band with Omar and their friends. Jim and Omar are also dating. Omar is often jealous of the attention and admiration Jim often receives, and he’s not afraid to express it by taking his anger out on him. Jim gets upset and hides within a club, where he meets Cale. Cale introduces himself as a fan and manager, and he convinces Jim to join him. Jim accepts and starts to become more successful without Omar, and once again, Omar gets jealous. Over time, Jim makes a name for himself and is about to put on the biggest concert of his life, and that is when he catches Cale with someone else. Jim gets upset again and tries to hide for a while, until Omar finds him. Omar tries to convince Jim to sing in his band again, but Jim remembers how Omar tends to treat him, so he argues back, making it clear that he will not be used again. He then punches Omar when Omar doesn’t leave him alone. When Jim returns to the stadium, he makes it clear to Cale that he no longer needs him and pretty much breaks up with him. It ends with Jim learning to be successful on his own and not letting certain guys distract him from his goals. Well, Aladdin might be the exception…
