Electric kettles and irons typically have a lifespan of only 3-5 years. By creating a low-tech hybrid of a kettle and iron, made of steel and coated with vitreous enamel - a durable and heat-retaining material - that works with existing heat sources (electric stove, gas stove, wood stove), the Press Pot provides two functions and replaces the need to own two appliances. The iron is applied to a common kettle shape for ease of use and functionality.
