Fermilab | Press Conference: First results from the Muon g-2 experiment at Fermilab @fermilab | Uploaded 3 years ago | Updated 2 hours ago
This press conference was held on April 7, 2021, shortly after a scientific seminar announcing the first results from the Muon g-2 experiment at Fermilab. These long-awaited results showed fundamental particles called muons behaving in a way that is not predicted by scientists’ best theory, the Standard Model of particle physics. The speakers are: Chris Polly (Fermilab, Muon g-2 co-spokesperson), Graziano Venanzoni (INFN, Muon g-2 co-spokesperson), and Aida El-Khadra (UIUC, co-chair of the Muon g-2 Theory Initiative).
