Just ahead of the Nevada caucus, Amnesty International USA (AIUSA) and co-sponsoring organizations will be hosting a presidential forum that takes a deep dive into one of the defining issues of the election: immigration. As a state with a vibrant immigrant population, Nevada is an ideal setting for a conversation on how its voters, residents and the country will be affected by immigration policy in a new presidential term. Amnesty International USA has extended an invite to all Republican and Democratic candidates. The forum will provide candidates and voters, including AIUSA members, an opportunity to address the many complicated facets of immigration policy and to allow the candidates to publicly take a humane stance on immigration that upholds human rights.
