On October 27, 2023, Dr. Jean Runyon was officially installed as Piedmont Virginia Community College's sixth president. The investiture ceremony was attended by Virginia Community College System Chancellor David Doré, fellow VCCS college presidents, PVCC faculty and staff, college board members, elected representatives, and community partners.
