http://www.parklandchildrensacademy.com - Children Assessment is the process of observing, recording and documenting what children do and how they do it, as the basis for a variety of educational decisions. Here at Parkland Children's Academy we observe the children write notes, take pictures of children engaged in an activity, sometimes we ask them to perform a specific task, and talk with the child to acquire knowledge of their abilities. A portfolio is maintained for each child with the skills documentation and physical evidence of achievements. With these assessments we can plan better to meet the individual needs of the child and the whole group.
We do assessments three times a year, we have a parent-teacher conference, this way you the parents can see the progress of their children
