The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Brownwood District will conduct an online virtual public meeting for the proposed 2027 – 2030 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP). The purpose of this meeting is to provide information and receive comments on which transportation projects may be coming to your area.
Brownwood District includes Brown, Coleman, McCulloch, Lampasas, Mills, San Saba, Stephens, Eastland, and Comanche counties. The RTIP includes both grouped projects and individually listed projects that include added-capacity projects and regionally significant projects funded outside of Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) boundary, and within a TxDOT district during the next four years, including those eligible for federal funding. This meeting offers the public an opportunity to review and comment
on proposed priorities.
