3 million Filipinos between the ages of 16 and 24 are either out of school or did not finish post-secondary education, leaving them unprepared to participate in the formal economy. EDC’s USAID Opportunity 2.0 program is addressing this challenge by delivering technical and social and emotional learning skills to 180,000 out-of-school youth in the Philippines, offering a second chance to thousands of young people who need it.
