Would you be ready if you were snowed in and lost power? Could you heat your house, cook, and keep needed electrical items running? How long could you last? After going through a horrible 2009 ice storm in Kentucky, I always think we'll be without power for more than a week. Luckily, we had ventless gas logs to help heat the house. But now we don't have that and have to rely on portable propane heaters. I've done all I can do, so now we wait.
