This is the first is a new series documenting the work needed to make "Mermaid's Rest" ready to bring home to Canada. This is odd in that it's going to be a series covering diesel engine work, which is the exact opposite of what the end goal is. However, before the conversion can happen, we need to cover a ~700nm journey using her existing Yanmar.
