If you are interested in more specs on the power station I used in this video, please go to their website - lum-pal.com/products/lum-power-1000-portable-power-station
If you decide to purchase it, there is a $50 discount code that can be used - WORKSHOPADDICT
---------------------
This power station is much smaller than the ones I have around the house for power outages. The reason for the second smaller model is that the large 2400-watt units are large and heavy. As you can see, this small unit would power our water heater for a very long time. That allows us to keep the larger model in other areas that might be more important and also easier to get to.
You do not need multiple power stations, this is just one way I wanted to be set up for my situation. Many could get by with only a gas generator or inverter. I am opting to be a bit more comfortable. A power station of this size should be around $550 or less.
