Hello there,
Here is a quick double feature of two preludes. These are the first two out of thirty I will be attempting to compose throughout the month of November. Writing one piece a day is going to be quite the challenge but I hope this experience will help me grow as a composer. Plus, I plan on putting all of these together into one video once I finish. I'm not planning on uploading every day but you can probably expect to see more double features like this coming up. I may also release many in months other than November just because I want to get ahead with the upload schedule and all that. 😊
C Major Prelude: 0:00
The first prelude follows a somewhat palindrome-like form. I realize its title can be construed to be something much darker than what I was imagining. My intention for this piece is for it to describe the more memorable moments of one's life in an instant. Let me know what picture this piece paints for you. (:
A Minor Prelude: 2:35
The second prelude reminds me of a lot of different pieces of music and songs that I've listened to throughout the ages. Particularly (I'm going to say it before anyone else does), the Liszt transcription of Beethoven's 7th Symphony Movement 2. Let me know if this reminds you of anything else. (:
