One thing I had to cut out of the video is that this novel ties the Foundation series to Asimov's Robot series. It isn't strictly necessary to read the Robot series first. This novel does have spoilers for that series.

If you're wondering where my reading update for the week is, I've decided to stop doing them. Given that I do individual reviews for most of the books I read and a monthly wrap-up, the weekly update started to feel redundant.
