In this video, my boys and I venture up into the Lincoln National Forest to explore an old abandoned copper mine dating back to the 1930's. The portals to the mine are rather sketchy to enter due to slabs of rock becoming dislodged from the back. However, I gain entry (with my boys patiently waiting outside) to explore the uppermost level of the mine. The elevation of this area definitely requires fitness (heavy breathing in the video exemplifies that)! I plan to return with support from friends soon to get to the lower level of the mine!
