Since EMC must be considered from the start of any electronic design, especially sensitive space instrumentation requires thorough EMC testing. This presentation describes the pre-EMC test performed on the first Quadrant Photo Receiver model for LISA. What was expected, what is measured, how is it done, what results did the test yield and what improvements are proposed for the next version of the QPR?
