Precuts might be the biggest rip off in quiltingā¦ and no one wants to admit it.
After seeing what comes into our shop from the children of deceased quilters, one thing is clear ā stacks of unused precuts. Jelly rolls, layer cakes, charm packsā¦ beautiful fabric that never got used.
Most patterns that use precuts:
ā¢ Donāt use every piece
ā¢ Leave leftovers
ā¢ Waste part of each cut
ā¢ Cost more per yard
And the most expensive fabric you can buyā¦ is the fabric you never use.
