UNRELEASED RECORDING
Recorded January 1996 straight to cassette at Fowler's Yard Durham
'Dead Lizard' was the last track recorded at the very first session of the group which over the next couple of years would evolve into and eventually be perfectly named The Prestidigitators after the track on Naked City 'Torture Garden' album (Gillham's undisputed favourite album of all time since day of purchase in '91 not long after release)

This is from one of the many recordings which exist. Only a small number have ever been released. All master tapes and any/all other archive recordings are currently being digitised and several releases are planned.
Gillham : drums
Graeme : guitar
Jimmy : trumpet, percussion
KZ : bass, percussion
Jimmy is the living legend skateboarder Jimmy Boyes. instagram.com/jimtree
Check out this amazing video of him in action youtu.be/ELpa1L6AubM released to accompany his interview in Sidewalk magazine issue 200.
Graeme & Gillham were both members of UKHC band Voorhees at this time and had been for full 2 years before realising they were both into Free Jazz, Improvisation, Experimental Music, etc and up for doing something along those lines and this first session was booked a couple of months later after roping in other people who were up for something different. At the time we were all aged between 17 and 21 years old.
