The Tsugaru Shamisen, a 3-stringed Japanese instrument that has given birth to some of the most amazing and iconic music that Japan has to offer. Just over half a decade ago, I was granted the good fortune of becoming the apprentice of the legendary Yoshida Brothers. I still apprentice with them to this day.
