This video was produced when the laboratory operated as the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). The laboratory is now the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR). The PR100 Study combined stakeholder engagement, scenario modeling, and impact analysis to find pathways for Puerto Rico to pursue its renewable energy goals while incorporating community perspectives and advancing energy resilience for all Puerto Ricans.

An advisory group of stakeholders met regularly with the U.S. Department of Energy and national laboratories conducting the study to provide input on modeling and impact analysis tasks, and a steering committee of leaders from federal and Puerto Rico government agencies provided additional guidance. As the study neared its conclusion, members of both groups shared their key takeaways from the experience.
