Upon arriving on the campus of San Diego State, 2021 Silver Pigskin Winner Lucky Sutton found himself low on the depth chart. These days, athletes bail in hopes of find playing opportunities elsewhere. Lucky stayed at S-D-S-U. Fast forward 3 years, and Lucky finished the season as the Aztecs leading rusher. These days, athletes at smaller schools try and parlay that sort of success into a richer NIL deal at a bigger school. Last week, Lucky informed the world he is returning to SDSU for his final season.
In an era of college athletes fleeing the scene at the first bump in the road or the first opportunity to pad the pocket book, Lucky Sutton remains a breath of fresh air. Which is why he was invited back to the PPR Podcast, episode number #265.
