This clip wasn’t staged and it wasn’t a film failure.
We were trying to save a piece of scrap from a bad plot and didn’t realize the film had already been scored. Once tension was applied, it split — simple as that. It wasn’t planned, we just happened to be filming when it happened.
This wasn’t an issue with film quality or brand. Mistakes like this can happen during prep, especially when working fast or trying to salvage material. We scrapped the piece, reset, and installed it correctly right after.
