Learn PowerPoint 🧙 learnfromme.net/powerpoint-complete-course
📖 This tutorial is a problem-solving / troubleshooting video about a known issue, or rather obstacle when creating slide layouts and templates. When we put a powerpoint placeholder onto a layout, then we add shapes to add to the design the placeholders will be always displayed first, in front when we add a picture to it. With this little workaround I recommend punching a hole in the actual picture placeholder to make shapes look like they appear in front of it. When in reality, the picture placeholder has simply a shape cut out of it.
This won't work for gradient overlays as they still will be added as a shape in the background, but maybe Microsoft thinks of a solution for the future.
