In December, our EconiQ® live tank circuit breaker LTA was delivered and energized at the Oberhaid substation. This innovative technology protects the grid from dangerous short circuits and is the world’s first 420 kV Live Tank Breaker free of SF₆. It’s a huge leap toward a more sustainable power system.
