Isaac Mather was one of the first people I asked to be a part of this project. And I could hear him singing this hymn in my head, and knew how powerful it would be. His voice makes you FEEL what he’s singing. The passion, the pain, the desperation. He’s one of the most emotive vocalists I’ve ever heard. I love the powerful parts… but the ending, the soft ending… it moves you just as much by the tenderness. It’s hard not to cry.
