A car bomb exploded outside a municipal police headquarters in Ojos Caliente, Zacatecas, on August 30, injuring 11 people and damaging about 30 homes. Officials said the stolen vehicle was packed with explosives and described the blast as a possible retaliation by organized crime groups following recent arrests.
