Powered By HELICS features the Hierarchical Engine for Large-scale Infrastructure Co-Simulation (HELICS), an open-source co-simulation platform that enables integrated multisector/multiscale analysis by bringing together existing software simulators so they exchange information during run-time to form a comprehensive simulation. HELICS was developed in partnership with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and has been used for multiple applications from small desktop studies to large-scale T&D analysis to real-time simulations with hardware.
