This week, we build a power supply that will run our laptop off or ships batteries.
We will use a ready-made switching power supply board to raise our boat's nominal 12V power to the 20V our laptop wants. We will discuss boost converters, buck converters, and buck-boost converts along the way. With these tools at your disposal, you will find powering things off-grid much easier.
