This video was produced when the laboratory operated as the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). The laboratory is now the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR). Through USAID and NREL’s Energy Access Partnership for Haiti, NREL worked with organizations across the Haitian energy sector to integrate resilience into energy sector planning. As part of these efforts, NREL conducted targeted workshops exploring the USAID-NREL Partnership’s Resilient Energy Platform and Power Sector Resilience Planning Guidebook. These trainings help develop a better understanding of key metrics and definitions for resilience, how to assess vulnerabilities for power system operations and infrastructure, and how to develop robust stakeholder-driven processes and potential mitigation strategies.
