It’s 1995 and the Web is new. It’s also the year of Microsoft’s PC operating system Windows 95 expected to dominate computing. That same year, however, Brendan Eich at browser start up Netscape has created JavaScript - a programming language that transforms the web by helping make it interactive. 

Twenty five years on, JavaScript runs on 90% of web sites while Windows 95 is a memory. Allen Wirfs-Brock - one of those responsible for the standard behind Javascript - talks to TNMOC’s #languagemakers about the birth of JavaScript, how it transformed the web - and its technology ingredients.
