This was an assignment for my animation class at CSUN, the run time had to be a minimum of 10 seconds of movement... needless to say, I was a bit overly ambitious with this project, since it's close to a minute in length.
Seeing how this was my first attempt at animating anything via stop animation, I'm pretty proud of it. First got the idea when scouring through my garage looking for things to use for the project, and stumbled upon my old Power Ranger action figures. After that, I got a bit nostalgic and since the new movie will be coming out soon, I thought to myself, "What the hell, it's Morphin Time baby!"

Loki discovers he is the son of the vicious Frost Giant Laufey.
This is such a powerful scene in the first Thor film that I thought Id try to emulate both Tom Hiddleston and Ser Anthony Hopkins amazing performances. I always found Loki to be a beautifully tragic character, and Tom Hiddleston makes the duality of this character so utterly poignant that I always found myself cheering for Loki in the Marvel films.

Highschool is rarely a joyful time to be a young, insecure, little noodle-child. It forces you to either swim with the sharks, or be consumed from the depths below.
