Probably the fastest time in the world since no one else played it, the trick to a faster time is boosting and drifting (more precisely skidding) at the same time. As long as the car is skidding, you will regenerate boost. Maintaining the skid while controlling it to be as straight as possible will essentially give you unlimited boost, as the drift regenerates boost slightly faster than it consumes, but this is a delicate process.
This game got me giddy since 2015, only to have the developer collect CA$52,000 from Kickstarter, pass the pledge goal and never deliver. Fun times.
