Power BI matrix visual tutorial for inscope dax function which is helpful in hiding a particular dimension values if those values are not required.

Power BI Inscope Function Returns true when the specified column is the level in a hierarchy of levels.

Inscope function is not supported for use in DirectQuery mode when used in calculated columns or row-level security (RLS) rules.
