Targeting MLO1, MLO4, and related genes is proving to be a powerful strategy for powdery mildew resistance in cannabis. In collaboration with Cornell University, several edited lines showed 100% resistance during controlled infection tests. Early images reveal plants completely free of powdery mildew as sequencing work continues to confirm which MLO genes were knocked out. #shorts #cannabisgenetics #cannabiscultivation
