POVA 8 5G is here, and it is anything but ordinary. Starting at just ₹29,999, this phone packs an insane combination of futuristic design, massive battery, and flagship-grade camera and in this video, we are unboxing it and taking a detailed first look at everything inside the box.
The first thing that grabs your attention is the ALIVE Matrix Display on the back an interactive rear lighting system that reacts to your music, notifications, calls, charging, gaming, and more. You can fully customise the light patterns, and it genuinely makes every other phone look boring by comparison. The cyberpunk-inspired design with geometric detailing, metallic textures, and orange accent elements gives it a visual identity that stands out from every angle.
Under the hood, POVA 8 5G runs on the Dimensity 7100 processor built on a 6nm process, paired with up to 8GB RAM (plus Memory Fusion) and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The phone runs Android 16 out of the box with HiOS 16 on top.
Battery is where this phone gets serious 8000mAh with a promised 2-day battery life and 45W fast charging in the box. With over 1198 hours of standby time and 39+ hours of calling time, this is genuinely a two-day phone.
On connectivity, POVA 8 5G uses a triple-chipset setup the Dimensity 7100 processor alongside dedicated G1 and SE1 signal chipsets supporting 20 5G bands for rock-solid signal even in crowded areas. UPS 3.0 also enables up to 4X faster payments.
