The coaster began life at the 1937 Paris Exhibition, before the materials from it were used to create the Texas Tornado. It was designed by Charles Paige under the supervision of legendary designer, Harry G Traver.
The park was owned by the Thompson family who own Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The coaster operated from 1939 to 1999, when the park closed down.
