Obtaining this sample of Agarikon from high up in a tree was a real nail-biter!

The pressure was on and arms were strained. However, our skilled R&D team was able to successfully secure a sample in their cork borer which was attached to an extended pole.

Once collected, samples are taken back to the lab where we culture and preserve each valuable strain. #biodiversityisbiosecurity
