Today I’m showing you a brilliant pour painting technique using a drain strainer. It’s a combination of the open cup method and a strainer. Let yourself be surprised, because the result is completely different from what you might expect.
The secret is to gently rotate the drain strainer after filling it with paint while moving it across the canvas. The result is a piece of art unlike anything I’ve achieved before, and I’ve painted a lot of pieces.
The acrylic paints are thinned only with water and mixed slightly. I used my classic water only recipe and the paints from my course, Module No. 9, Update No. 3.
