Next 9 May, the Potentially Hazardous Asteroid (612356) 2002 JX8 will have a close, but safe close encounter with our planet, coming as close as 4.2 million of kilometers, 10.9 times the average lunar distance (source: JPL/Nasa).  ,

On these very nights, asteroid (4) Vesta, generally the brightest asteroid in our sky, is perfectly placed out there, at opposition.
