A disappointed and dejected Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou slammed his players after their second-half showing at Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday - which saw them crumble from 2-0 up to lose 3-2.

Spurs were coasting at half-time after goals from Brennan Johnson and James Maddison but the conceded three goals in 18 second-half minutes as the home side moved above them in the Premier League table.

Postecoglou said his side's second-half showing was "unacceptable" and said his players" failed to do the basics".
