There are quite a few different variations since there a lot of enemy patterns. The basic strategy is to land on the first platform and kill the enemy on the top. After this try and collect the missile while killing a rocket ripper that is in the way. There are a lot of situations where there is a rocket ripper slightly behind after getting the missile, and in that situation holding left for a bit after collecting the missile will work to kill it.
